112 YEARS AGO

Today way back in 1908, an explosion in Russia leveled 770 sq miles of forest in what would become known as the Tunguska Event.
Thought to be the result of an air-burst from a meteor or comet, the event is still perplexing over 100 years later - and many are the theories as to its cause.
