RONDA IS ONE OF THE OLDEST CITIES IN SPAIN.
The city has been declared a national monument.
The gorge divides into two parts: the old city of the 13th century and the new city of the 18th century. Both parts are connected by the so-called New Bridge, built in the 18th century.
It is noteworthy that the interior of the bridge used to be used as prison cells.
