My favourite nurse came over and did it for me and she broke the sad news to me that this is her last week as she is off to work at James Cook Hospital.
Absolutely gutted as not only is she a wonderful and professional district nurse, but she is also a very caring human being who went above and beyond the call of duty with her patients and that is a rarity in this day and age of the medical professionals that I have dealt with over the years.
I've got a feeling however that she was pushed out as it was only 6 weeks ago that she told me that she loves community nursing and she is loving her job.
Oh well, I suppose I can't always be lucky.
