OLD GUY RANT: THE “THIS IS NOT A DRILL” EDITION-

Well sadly the time has come for this post. It may be longer than usual but it is probably the most important rant I’ve ever done.
The United States of America is under attack from both outside and within. This is no longer a question. This past week the news came out that Russia was paying the Afghanistan Taliban cash for each US solider they killed. Russia placed a bounty on our soldiers.
Of course the orange smudge didn’t do anything about it. Russia put him in office. He owes loyalty to them. Not to mention massive financial assistance Russia has given him.
So here we sit knowing this occurred and things only go down hill from there this week.
The POTUS is losing his grip on reality. He knows his entire house of cards fake facade is built upon lies and illegal activity and once he is no longer in office he is subject to criminal actions from states just waiting. They have the proof, now they need the POTUS.
With his panic over his poll numbers and writing that appears on the wall his administration has started pulling out all stops to steal another election.
And worse.

Listed below are a few things that have occurred.
Trumps appointee to the post office has purposely slowed the speed by which the mail gets shipped. A memo showed this was to cause mail in ballots to not be counted because they will be delivered too late.
The administration has taken the coronavirus daily counts away from the CDC and they are attempting to defund testing and tracking in the next economic package. They want to completely control the narrative on the pandemic for their own gains.
The POTUS threatened to sent forces in to cities to quell unrest. To “take over the cities” as he put it. In Portland, Oregon this has occurred. Several unidentifiable troops were snatching peaceful protestors off the streets and placing them in unmarked vans and driving away with them. They refused to identify themselves.
The administration is trying to force teachers and kids back in to school even though the CDC states this is the worst thing they can do. The administration is willing to sacrifice kids and teachers in order to get things running again and to allow parents to return to work. The cost in lives will be astronomical.
Stores around the country are suddenly experiencing a coin shortage and are going to cashless payment options only. With no cash the government controls your money and access to anything you need to buy. You are at their mercy.
Our borders are closed. You cannot leave. You cannot travel for business or pleasure. You are stuck here.
The free press has been bought out by large corporations. Small press reporters are being targeted at BLM rallies and arrested. It is a full blown attack on the press.
Internment camps are set up and are full of immigrant children and adults. Others camps exist that are ready to be used.
Pardons have been given by the POTUS for his cronies that helped commit treason with Russia to place the POTUS in office.
Peaceful protestors in rallies are being gassed and shot with ballistic weapons in the head.
Actual Nazi propaganda and symbols are being used by the administration.
A massive hack occurred on twitter against specific high level individuals. All except for Trump himself. This smells too much like a test run. A possible internet shutdown tactic to kill the possibility of communication.
Trumps niece released her book exposing his secrets to the world. His mental status has fallen fast since then.
He is becoming highly unstable and with four months left until the elections it is very easy to imagine that his administration will make moves to steal another election by any means necessary. This included brut force and lies, theft and incarceration.
When you cannot travel outside your country, or buy food without the say of your country you are at its leaders mercy. When you can be snatched off the streets by unidentifiable thugs and thrown in to a van against your will you have no freedom. When you cannot vote for new leaders because the system is rigged against fairness you have no voice and when the free press isn’t free anymore you have no information you can trust.
This is the perfect recipe for a dictatorship. For a massive grab for ultimate power. And this country is primed for it to happen in the face of the pandemic which has crippled all normalcy.
It has been asked previously what would we do if Trump refused to leave the White House when he loses the vote. We could well have to find out soon. It is possible and even likely that he and his administration will say the election was fraudulent and they will not abide by the illegality of it.
These are times that I never thought I would have to face here in the United States of America.
When I was a young man in the Army stuck in three countries in Central America I saw things that I still have nightmares over. We spent months down there bringing “Democracy “ to them all in the name of lies from the POTUS. What happens there so long ago hides in the shadows of what is happening here now.
Fake news, alternate realities, hoaxes. Those are all speaking points of this administration. They want to control perceived truth. The problem is that most people already know it.
That is that we have an unstable pedophile and sexual predator who cheats on his wives and lies about everything in charge of what was supposed to be the greatest country on earth. A man who is ill equipped to even run a fruit stand and yet he is in charge. The most corrupt POTUS in history believes himself glorious and above question. Caesar need to meet the senate on the steps because we are in very serious trouble.
You can say this is conspiracy theory if you wish. The evidence is out there if you go look. Or you can remain Clueless and follow the cult of Trump. That is your choice.
With the unrest happening here and the pandemic causing shortages of all goods there may come a day soon (within a year or so) when you will not be able to get many basics including medicines you need. Please keep that in mind and be prepared the best you can. That is the worst case scenario. But it is within the realm of possibility and you needed to hear it.
If possible it would be best to set up a group agreement with yourself and several friends to act as a unit to help each other out. There is safety in numbers. Being alone would be bad.
If the shit does hit the fan here I hope the best for us all. Time will tell what happens and by the Godz do I hope Trump is dragged from the White House in handcuffs.
But it is critical that you think ahead to all the worst cases and you try to plan the best you can. Perhaps you lose your apartment because you cannot afford it. But maybe several friends could pitch together and afford one warm and safe abode. A collective if you will. Scary times are possible ahead. And economic collapse is all but guaranteed.
I keep remembering my youth spent in foreign places and being so thankful back home was never like they were. Well that is not the case anymore.
