Before the Taliban, and Before America's so called "War on Terror." Afghanistan was nothing like it is today. In the 1960s and early '70s, it was a land of short skirts and contemporary fashion, VW buses and other hippie-era automobiles, along with
other Western influences that were fueled by hundreds of millions of dollars in investments from both the U.S. and the Soviet Union. Boys and girls went to school together while women could vote
and enjoy most of the same rights as men.
And now the country and her people have been destroyed by the West and their terrorist allies.
