I've just finished watching this Australian sci-fi apocalyptic thriller on Amazon Prime.
It's a very thought-provoking drama as time is running out and the world will end in less than 12 hours.
It's a story of a young man who is heading towards to the party to end all parties and he ends up rescuing a young girl along the way.
It's very graphic and sad as you know what will happen at the end of the film.
Good acting and a well written story.
I shall rate this flick a score of 7/10.

According to Norwegial folklore, if you picked up a mandrake root during full moon and fed it some drops of your blood, it would turn alive and form a special bond with it's owner. This homunculus creature served as a helping spirit and would do it's masters every bidding. But the ritual was hazardous however, because according to legend, the root would scream when dug up, killing everyone in hearing distance.
The idea of giving a wallet, or purse with money in it, is to enforce the idea that it'll never be empty. Some people even go as far as to sew the coins into the lining of wallets, so if for some reason you do spend the coin that was given, then your wallet is still not empty.
I've just watched this real good Vampire action thriller film on Netflix.
It has a decent twist to the Vampire Mythos and I really loved the film, it had some decent action scenes and a splattering of bloody gore in this flick.
I don't actually know the cast list and the only famous actress (Megan Fox?) has a small 3 min cameo, but she's not worth it really.
A good story helped and the visuals were quite nice, and nightlife of L.A. is interesting and scary at the same time.
I enjoyed this movie and I shall rate this film a score of 7/10.
Just finished watching this fantasy action adventure movie on Film4.
I do own the DVD, but it's a good film, so I've watched it on terrestrial to notice anything I might have missed.
It is a very damn good kids fantasy movie starring Patrick Stewart as Merlin and some famous offspring of other great actors.
The story is pretty decent as is the special effects.
It is written and directed by the great Joe Cornish.
It does have potential for a sequel but I don't think it will happen.
I will rate this film a score of 7/10.

I've just finished watching this very intelligent Sci-Fi drama movie on Amazon Prime.
It is low budget with no big name cast but it is a very interesting story involving parallel realities and the dangers of exploiting technology and knowledge that does not belong to you or your reality.
It is a very good drama, and I have always been interested in parallel worlds and the Mandela Effect that people experience.
I shall rate this film a score of 7/10.

Just finished watching this damn good American crime thriller on Amazon Prime.
Morgan plays a NYPD Detective who travels across Europe to hunt down the killers who murdered his daughter and son-in-law on their honeymoon in London.
He is helped by a German detective, a Swedish journalist, and a police task force from Belgium.
The acting and cast were brilliant, the scenery and location shoot was beautiful, the story was really good as it is based on a James Patterson novel of the same name.
The twists were quite good and I only figured out a couple of them before they were revealed.
I shall rate this movie a score of 9/10.
My dad was like this, I use to be 6ft1 (before losing my legs) and my dad was 5ft9, but he always tried to convince people that he was taller and a bigger man than everyone else.
He even stood on the pavement kerb to try to look taller then me, but it never worked. He was a fragile little man with a fragile heart.
I've just finished watching this fairly decent action thriller on Amazon Prime.
A pair of cops try to evacuate a group of people from a housing complex during a hurricane storm, including a retired cop (Mel Gibson) and a mysterious old man. And then a group of thieves storm the building to locate something worth a lot of money.
There is a lot of action, and gunplay in this movie which made it better than a B-Movie style action flick.
The acting was quite good, as was the action scenes.
I shall rate this film a score of 6/10.

Whistling while you work may be an issue in Lithuania where it's forbidden to whistle indoors because the noise is believed to summon demons.
I've just finished watching this very action packed and gory French Zombie movie on Amazon Prime.
I actually don't know the cast but they did a very good job in their roles. The Zombies were of the fast running types which are not my favourites, but it suited the film really well.
Best way to describe this film is it's a cross between the Raid and the Sweeney with added dead people wanting to rip you apart.
You don't get to see how and why the undead come back, it just happens and I know some people don't like that and they want the answers spoon fed to them in every detail, but sometimes, you just have to accept it and go with the flow.
The cops, criminals, and civilians are all well rounded characters and are all morally grey.
I shall rate this flick a score of 8/10.
