FREAK STORM FIVE YEARS AGO

FREAK STORMS IN PARIS KILLING PEOPLE RIGHT NOW - the French news wires have just gone ballistic - a freak storm over Paris has caused lightning to strike several people - many of them children. Eleven people were struck by lightning in one colossal hit at Parc Monceau, in the west of Paris - eight children have been rushed to hospital, many other reports coming in of lightning causing major havoc. People reporting the sky looked 'Like a sci-fi movie'.

LUCIFER SEASON 5B

Well we've finished binge watching Season 5B of Lucifer on Netflix.
OMG it was awesome and very epic.
My favourite episodes were - "Family Dinner", "Bloody Celestial Karaoke Jam", "Daniel Espinoza: Naked and Afraid."
Dennis Haysbert was brilliant as God. And the ending was fantastic.
Onward to season 6 later this year.
The only gripe I have is the lack of the character Michael.
So overall, my rating for this second half of series 5 is a score of 9/10

JUPITER'S LEGACY

We have just finished watching this superhero series on Netflix based on the comic book series of the same name.
And it was so very disappointing and long winded.
The few action scenes they had were really good but the origins were non-existent.
I'm going to rate this series a 6/10 and I will be surprised if they do a 2nd series.

GHOST WARS

I have finished binge watching this scary paranormal series on Netflix.
Quite gory and scary but very well acted and the cast list is really good.
Lots of twists and the cliffhanging ending was awesome.
I will rate this series a score of 8/10.

ABRACADABRA

SALVATION

I have now finished binge watching the 2 seasons of the sci-fi epic "Salvation." An asteroid is heading towards Earth to destroy it and it's down to a group of scientists to save the day.
It has the action and style of "24" with a blend of conspiracy and cliffhangers.
Good cast list helps the series and the ending does raise more questions then answers but it was a very enjoyable show.
I shall rate this series an 8/10,

ARMY OF THE DEAD

We watched the Zombie action heist movie "Army of the Dead" yesterday on Netflix.
It was AWESOME!!!
Good acting, Excellent storyline, and Damn good action scenes, and the Zombies are very unique and fast.
The movie is quite long at 2hr 28mins. Which I did not mind.

They have already made a prequel movie called "Army of Thieves" which finished filming in December 2020.
It stars the character of Ludwig Dieter, the German safecracker from the first movie.

They are also making a prequel anime series called "Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas" set during the original Zombie outbreak and stars the voice cast of the first movie.

Anyway I will rate "Army of the Dead" a score of 10/10.
It is worth watching again.

JAY AND SILENT BOB REBOOT

Well after years waiting to see this movie as I am a fan of Kevin Smith, I have finally watched Jay and Silent Bob Reboot on Netflix.
All I can say is that I'm glad I did not waste my money on buying the DVD as the film was very underwhelming.
It did have some decent cameos and the story was alright, but there was something missing but I don't know what.
The actors are getting old now to continue playing rascal stoners and the jokes are getting thin at this point.
I did notice that Harley really does look a lot like Jay, instead of her actual father Kevin Smith...Hmmmm....
Anyway I will sadly rate this movie a poor score of 5 out of 10.
Shame really.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASON, WELCOME TO THE END!

Well it's over between us now. I. AM. SINGLE.! I have been crying all day and laughing too, She explained that we are still friends and she cares about me, and she still loves me but not in love with me, as I pushed her away too much after I got back from hospital last October, she understands the reason why I did what I did but it was too much for her to handle. It will take several months yet until we finialise everything as we need to declutter everything, sell stuff, sort out who gets what items and then organise where we are moving too, because I need assisted living care as there is a lot of stuff I cannot do on my own anymore. I did ask her if she would consider marriage counselling, but she said it's too late for all of that. She knows she has hurt me and she regrets that, like I regret hurting her, but it's too late now. She will help me pack and move and help me set up my new home? (If I can call it that). All of this will be happening later this year. I am very scared as we have been together since 2003, and we have always been a team, stronger together but useless apart.

SHADOW AND BONE

I've recently watched the British Netflix fantasy series (8 eps) of "Shadow and Bone."
It's based on a series of novels that I have never heard of or read.
The first half is bloody slow and a tiny bit boring, then all the main characters get together and the second half is very good and the series pays off.
I did love the character Jasper, a sharpshooting thief.
I will rate the whole series a score of 7/10.
Hopefully, they will make a second season.
