Dangerous Davies: The Last Detective (1980)
Starring the legendary actors Bernard Cribbins as DC "Dangerous" Davies, Bill Maynard as Mod Lewis, and Joss Ackland as Chief Inspector Yardbird.
It was funny and dramatic with an amazing guest cast list of acting royalty.
There was only a one off movie and we had to wait until 2003 for the series "The Last Detective." starring Peter Davison.
