EVIL AMAZON!

There’s nothing quite as annoying as having to watch that Amazon Christmas advert, with the happy, smiling Amazon driver delivering parcels on behalf of Jeff Bezos, the biggest scumbag in the world. While Jeff is earning a staggering £1.6 Million per hour, his drivers are employed on dodgy contracts which offer them pitiful wages and no employment protection. As shops close in town centres up and down the UK, real jobs are being lost in the wake of Amazon’s ascendancy in the retail market. Amazon once used Royal Mail, but their army of low paid drivers is now costing the jobs of Royal Mail workers. Amazon does nothing to help the UK economy either, swindling the tax system, despite £15 Billion of UK sales, and starving our NHS and public services of much needed cash. If you get the chance, please go and see the amazing Ken Loach movie: "Sorry We Missed You" which exposes the shocking practices of short term contracts for drivers in the gig economy.

FUCKING USELESS DISTRICT NURSES

Well that was a fucking useless day!
We waited until 12pm for the district nurses to turn up to clean my stump and change my bandages as they should be doing every Friday. But they were a no-show. So Candy did everything instead, as she always does every day for me. Anyway just about 2pm, they rang me up and left a voice message on my moby, saying that they will arrive at 3pm instead. Candy rang back and left a message with them telling them don't bother as she has already done it and can they come round next week instead. As we were just getting ready to get our afternoon snooze just before 4pm, They turn up and wanted to be let in and to do their job. Candy told them not to bother as she has already done the job and can you come back next week. they were not happy about it, but tough! No apology from them for arriving several hours late and now I've got to put up with their bullshit next week. I might just cancel them on Monday as they are pissing me off. When they are here, they never do a decent job, they don't clean my stump that well either.

We have just watched The Christmas Chronicles 2 on Netflix.
A very sweet and wonderful family fantasy movie.
Much better then the first movie.

57 years ago today, the BBC broadcasted part 1 of An Unearthly Child starring the very first Doctor - William Hartnell.
It is a shame that the series has now been ruined by Jodie Whittaker and Chris Chibnall.

SEASON TWO OF THE TITANS

Well we have now finished watching season 2 of TITANS.
It was a lot better then the first season but still very uneven and a lot of plot holes.
The charactors of Connor/Superboy, Bruce Wayne, Rose Wilson, Deathstroke, and Krypto were the best things on the show.
The action and fight scenes were really good.
But I will give this series a rating of only 7/10. Good but not brilliant, but not worth buying on DVD.

SEASON ONE OF THE TITANS.

We have finished watching season 1 of TITANS on Netflix.
It was alright but not brilliant, Way too much violence and swearing which was not needed and the characters did not gel together yet.
I still don't like hooker Kory, as that is not my Starfire from the cartoons and comic books. Overall I will rate this series a 6/10.

FIRST ANNIVERSARY

16 years ago today - 19th November 2004 in Milton Keynes.
I first met my fiancee Candy when she arrived at my flat to stay for a few days. I had not even met her until then, and I had already asked her to marry me over the phone. We started off as pen pals the year before but we broke contact due to family issues for Candy, when she got back in touch with me, I was at a crossroads in my life and I was trying to work out what my next step would be. We started texting and then chatting for hours on end on the phone, and we realised that we had missed each other so much.She wanted to come down to visit me, so I sent her my spare flat key so she could let herself in when she arrived as I was going to be working that night but I quit my job the day before as it was only a Christmas temp job and it did not pay well.When she walked into my flat, I was upstairs in the living room, and I let out a gasp of sheer terror of nerves, which broke the ice as I heard her giggle to herself downstairs. Anyway when I saw her for the first time in the doorway, there was a sweet bundle of a woman dressed all in black and wearing a beanie hat, which was cute.My very first words to her was this -"You are far more beautiful then I could ever imagine" and then I gave her a bear hug and we kissed which was very magical and it took my breath away. I even gave her one of my silver dragon rings for her to wear round her neck as an engagement ring. When I even showed her my bedroom she was far more interested in my comic book collection than the double bed with a red rose on the pillow! Sheesh ! But we had the best three days ever, and only left the flat once so I could show her off to some of my friends.
I love you Candy with all my heart and soul. ❤ ❤ ❤ xxx

8 YEARS AGO TODAY -
I'm back now, it has been a rough week with no electricity, gas, or proper food. we have been living on sandwich's, crisps, biscuits and water to sustain us, it's been fucking cold so we have been wearing multiple clothes, my moby has died on me now but big thanks to Kirk Collins and Kyriacos Benjamin Vella for getting in touch, sorry for not replying I had no credit and now no moby. thank you to Andy, our downstairs neighbour for allowing me to put my insulin in his fridge. we have sorted out our benefits now, but we are just waiting for them to turn up in my account, Candy had to get an emergency crisis loan which took a long time to sort out. we have been very hungry and Candy has popped to the Co-Op to get some food. we are very tired and grumpy but relieved. at least we had romantic evenings with all our candles as we ate our sandwich's. I'm just catching up on a week's worth of news now and after reading John Seaton posts on what is going on over at the Gaza strip, christ almighty I thought we had it bad, we shall never have peace over there.

DAYBREAK

The past three days we have binged watched the Netflix series "DAYBREAK."
It's a Post-Apocalyptic Comedy-Drama with homages to Ferris Buller, Mad Max, Kill Bill, and The Warriors.
Very, very funny and worth a viewing.
9/10 rating.

FRIDAY THE 13TH TRUTH

CANDY LOVES ME!

DISABLED HOUSING

This bungalow is not really wheelchair friendly.
I have two bars next to the toilet, and that's it. nothing else has been kitted out for me here.
At least the width of all the doors are good.
Our wetroom does not actually work very well and I don't use the shower as the water here is very bad. We use bottled water for everything, from cleaning to drinking.
The kitchen sink and cooker are too tall for me, and we have cupboards in the kitchen that I can't reach. Our housing association refuse to change anything for us.
My new motorised wheelchair can extend upwards but it's still very diffcult and I'm not using it at the moment. Plus the living room has thick carpets that I cannot wheel across very well without assistance, so I can't reach the fridge or freezer.
I can't even access our dvd player either.
All of this fucking sucks.
