Just watched this movie on Netflix.
It is a neo-noir sci-fi drama directed by Duncan Jones.
The movie was a bit of a slow burner but it was damn good.
The cast list was awesome, the story itself was sweet but tragic.
I'm giving this film a rating of 10/10.

We watched this crime comedy earlier today.
A very funny movie starring Patrick Wilson.
A damn good rating of 10/10.

THE 2ND

We watched this action movie earlier on Netflix.
What a load of shite that was.
Too many plot holes, very bad acting, and the college son of Ryan's character looked like he was in his 30's with his stubble and tattooed arms.
Overall a rating of 2/10.
The 2 points were for Casper's hammy over the top acting as the bad guy.

DAY OF THE DEAD: BLOODLINES

We've just finished watching this zombie horror remake of the 80's classic.
It's not bad with some neat ideas and twists.
6/10 rating.

OUTSIDE THE WIRE

We just watched this incredibly cool sci-fi action war thriller starring Anthony Mackie as a rogue android trying to stop a nuclear war in Europe.
It was awesome!
10/10 rating.

POLAR

Today we watched the Netflix movie "Polar" starring Mads Mikkelsen.
It is a neo-noir action thriller film based on the graphic novel of the same name. What can I say about this movie, except for WOW!
Fuck John Wick, This character played by Mads was awesome and very tough. To be fair, John Wick is a bit of a pussy compared to "Duncan."
This movie is an awesome 10/10 rating.

COFFEE AND KAREEM

Today we watched the Netflix movie "Coffee & Kareem."
A very funny and foul mouthed action comedy.
It is a lot better then I thought it was going to be.
Another 10/10 rating for a very good film.

ANNA AND THE APOCALYPSE

Last night we watched this awesome Scottish musical horror comedy on Netflix.
It was funny, gory, and sad in parts but the acting and singing was very well done.
This movie has earned a 10/10, and I would like to buy the directors cut on DVD.

EXTINCTION

Yesterday we watched this very intelligent alien invasion with a twist movie on Netflix.
Damn good film with a rating of 9/10.

IN THE SHADOW OF THE MOON

We watched this intelligent time travel movie on Netflix earlier on today.
It was very good and the mystery of the true story was written very well.
Worth watching again.
I shall rate this movie a 9/10.

AVA

We watched this action packed thriller last night on Netflix.
It stars Jessica Chastain as a Hitwoman who works for John Malkovich. Colin Farrell is the bad guy.
The stunts and fight scenes were awesome.
I shall rate this film a 9/10

TRIPLE FRONTIER

We just watched this awesome heist thriller on Netflix.
Damn good film, but what an utter cock-up in the aftermath of the heist and escape across the Andes to freedom.
The cast were really good and the action scenes were excellent.
I shall give "Triple Frontier" a rating of 8/10.

Last week we watched the epic animated fantasy movie - Dragonlance.
The animation style was very basic but I loved it and I did not mind.
The movie is based on the first novel of the famous range of Dragonlance franchise.
Rating of 8/10.

GEMINI MAN

Last week we watched the sci-fi thriller Gemini Man starring Will Smith.
Not a bad movie with some dodgy CGI effects, but very good anyway.
I rate this film a 7/10.

Damn good movie and I'm looking forward to the third movie next year.

A group of immortal warriors fighting for justice.

MALEFICENT 1 & 2

Last week we watched Maleficent and Maleficent 2: Mistress of Evil.
Both were very awesome fantasy movies, loosely based on the legend of Sleeping Beauty's evil witch. Who in these two movies is actually an anti-hero.
The second movie I thought was a lot better and expanded on the mythos of the characters and creatures.
I will give both movies a rating of 10/10.

We watched the Netflix Australian black comedy noir thriller
"Kill Me Three Times" earlier today, which was quite good.
Starring Simon Pegg.

We watched Chapter 2 of IT earlier.
A lot better then the first movie I thought and more scarier.

Finally watched Chapter 1 of the horror movie "IT"
It was pretty good but I did not think it was very scary.
Hopefully I might watch Chaper 2 later.

We watched the epic WWI movie earlier.
I rate this film as 10/10, for many reasons. Directing, acting, set design, cinematography, musical score, the raw emotion it invokes.
It was an amazing film.

Rest in Peace to the legendary actor Christopher Plummer who passed away today, aged 91 years old..
This is him as the character of General Chang from Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMMA

Today is my late mum's 90th birthday.
She passed away in my arms, 20 years ago.
I still miss you a lot.
